How To Solve Photocopier Connection Issue

“My printer quit printing today! The previous day, everything was in order. I turned off both the printer and the computer. The following time I went to print, nothing happened. We’ve been hearing comments like this one from one of our customers a lot lately.

If you are experiencing this problem, Windows 10 updates may be to blame. Without informing you, the Windows 10 upgrade either corrupts the printer driver or sets up a “new” printer copy on your computer.

First, test your printer.
You should test your printer to see whether the problem is with the computer or the printer if it abruptly ceased printing after a software update.

To quickly verify this, try printing a copy page. If your printer is capable of doing this, it is not malfunctioning. You can try printing a report from the control panel if your printer isn’t a copier, or you can connect it to another device, or you can try using it in some other way if you don’t have a computer. You can tell that the printer is the problem—not the software update—if it won’t copy or print a report.

How can this communication issue be resolved? So locate the installation CD for the printer and reinstall it. That typically works perfectly. Visit the manufacturer’s website to get fresh drivers if you’ve misplaced your disc (usually found under Support, Downloads).
